Commissioned in 2021 by the Leitrim Dance Festival, Turned on Its Head challenges the expectation of what dance on film can be by placing more emphasis on the sound of dance, rather than its visual representation.

THE BLACKBIRD.
A version of the traditional set dance choreographed by Siamsa Tire in honor of the late Jeremiah Molyneaux, danced by my hand. I love exploring the different ways you can present dance on film and this was a quirky experiment.
